Hope everyone had a fabulous Fat Tuesday! Me, well I hung out with my mini me, Gina and Bev at 219 West. It was, as always, fun!
Now that Fat Tuesday is past us you know what that means, It's Ash Wednesday. Time to give up something you love for 40 days. It starts today till Easter. I plan to give up all sodas. I only really drink them on the weekends but since I'm trying to get a few pounds off and it's one of the things I love I mean that's a no brainer. So no Sodas for 40 days. I, this is gonna be hard. You can do it also. Just put your mind to it!!!

Happy Fat Tuesday everyone!!! So much going on for Mardi Gars!!! It's gonna be a party all up and down 6th Street. So get ready to wear your finest Mardi Gras outfit and receive or dish out some beads!! It's gonna be madness.

It's Thursday So it's officially the weekend. Where do we begin?
Recap of last night. Went to see my friend Lisa Marshall sing and rate her for her upcoming audition for The Voice. It was a real cool and calm night. Lisa's voice is powerful and loves to sing old soulful songs which suit her very much. Would love to hear her sing Tina Marie just to see what she's got. I think she'll be able to blow it up!!! My suggestion to her was to pick a very current song that she can blow and then pick two of her old recognizable songs and she'll be a shoe in. Break a Leg on the upcoming auditions, Lisa!!!!

Now for tonight. My road dog Herbert has been in hiding for a week or two but he may just text me at like 4 and say let's do a HH which I don't mind at all. His favorite spot on Thursday is El Arroyo. I have yet to make it but it's all the rage. They have their HH's on Thursday. .99 Cents Margaritas!!!! I'm always looking forward to a nice priced rita. Hello, How R U and How Do U Do? A little cheerleading came out of me on that one.
So, it's Wednesday and the scene has been on spot but I havent been able to post everything. It's been a worldwind and this week is no exception. Tonight, I have a listening session for a friend of mine that will be auditioning for The Voice. Wow, if she makes it then that will be two of my friends that are making things happen. We all know that Tje Austin was on Last Season.
Then on Friday I have another bday gathering to attend out at the Domain. There are also some exciting events coming up as well. Like Estelle. She will be here on Thursday. Make sure to check out my Upcoming Events Tab for all the info.
Also, while I was checking out The Westminster Kennel Club show last night I had to let you know who won Best in Show. It was Malachy a 4yr Old Pekingese. Congrats!!! There was an Irish Setter that was nice but I was strongly pulling for Malachy and She Won!!! Here's a few Pics of Malachy..

Wow! Last night was so much fun. My friend Kim wanted a bday party but not your norm. so she remembered a party she attended where you decorate your shoes. So we got together along with another friend of mine Rod and came up with The Shoe Fetish Party. The location was at Haven and it was a prefect night. Not to cold, rainy or any other weather tragedies. Most everyone decorated their shoes. We had a pair of dutch inspired, Alumni Foil, Ozarka and many more. Of course I must say that my Tux shoes were the winners!! :)  We all had a very good night! Thanks Rod for helping out and thanks to everyone who made it a success.
Now tonight my friend Julie is having a bday party but nothing planned except for meeting and having drinks. Yeah buddy!!!
